Prayer
No one ever knows what is in store for them in the future. The question often arises, "why do bad things happen to good people?" Read the book of Job in the Old Testament. There's a prime example of bad things happening to a good person. It is not our place to understand everything that happens today. We will understand it all in due time, but realize that faith has everything to do with outcomes.

Pray for...

For all those who serve both on foreign soil and here on this free land. Pray for them and their families.

For the leaders of this great nation.

Christians to be faithful, true, and bear full allegiance to God first.

Man to put God before the world.

The many sick and afflicted.

Those who have lost loved ones.

All of us to do God's will.

Praying Hands

We proudly support our brave men and women in the uniformed service. Many members of this congregation have already served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces or our Civil Service. These men and women continue to protect and safeguard our precious way of life. Remember them in your prayers.

We have several in our community and friends and family from abroad that are sick, weary, or worn in some way. Some are fighting cancer, some have caught a "bug," while others are experiencing difficulties in thier lives. The great thing about prayer is that prayer can be used to help others at any time. We are told that "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16).

There are many passages in the Bible about prayer. We invite you to look up those passages and read and learn them for yourself. We are happy to offer our prayers on your behalf. Just contact us and let us know the basics. We do not want any of your money. You will not be asked to offer a prayer offering or donate in any way. We only ask that you read and study the Bible to learn the truth. If we can assist you in studying, again, please contact us.

The freedoms that we have in the United States of America are grand. Please pray for our leaders of this nation and pray that they have faith in God and look to God lest we fall.

What does the Bible say about submitting to government? Read Romans 13:1-7.
